House no. 01
The first house, and the one we got wrong twice before getting right. It was a family home until 1974, then a language school, then empty for nineteen years.
Eighteen rooms across six floors. The four on the top floor have the terrace and the noise from Praça das Flores; the two in the basement have neither and are the ones people rebook.

Membership
There is no points scheme and nothing expires. You pay once a year and get the same room cheaper, plus the things we cannot sell — the late check-out that is actually late, and a bed when the house says it is full.
